Bouriant
Surtout porté dans le Cher, parfois dans l'Allier (variante : Bouriand, forme ancienne : Bourian), c'est un nom de sens incertain. Peut-être un toponyme : il existe un ancien manoir de Bouriand, mais en Bretagne (Bédée, 35). On peut aussi penser à la région du Lot appelée "la Bouriane" ou "Pays bourian". Mais rien de tout cela ne nous rapproche du Cher.
